Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 September 2026
These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the job matching service “JobMatch” (the “Service”) provided by the JobMatch team (the “Operator”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. About the Service
The Service is a place where people looking for work in Australia (job seekers) and businesses hiring staff (employers) can find each other. The Operator is not an employer, recruitment agency or labour-hire provider, and is not involved in hiring decisions, employment contracts or the payment of wages.
Hiring and working conditions are agreed between the job seeker and the employer. The Operator does not guarantee that job listings or applicant information are accurate, or that any application will lead to a job.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep the information you provide accurate and up to date.
Keep your login details secure. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you.
You are responsible for checking that you have the right to work in Australia (for example, your visa conditions). The Operator does not give visa or legal advice.
3. For job seekers
Fill in your profile and applications truthfully. When you apply, part of your profile (display name, visa type, languages, your message, and any resume or files you attach) is shown to the employer you apply to.
Be careful if a listing asks you to pay money or hand over sensitive details (bank account, passport number and the like). Use “Report this job” to tell the Operator about anything suspicious.
4. For employers
Post real jobs with accurate details. Pay and conditions must follow Australian workplace laws (minimum wages, hours, leave and so on).
You must not charge applicants any fee (placement fee, registration fee, deposit and the like), and must not discriminate unfairly, for example by nationality, sex, age or race.
Use the personal information you receive from applicants only to consider them for the job. Do not use it for other purposes or pass it on to anyone else.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not: provide false information; impersonate someone; use the Service for fraud or any unlawful purpose; harass or bother other users; interfere with the Service (unauthorised access, bulk automated posting and the like); infringe others’ rights (copyright, image rights, privacy and so on); or do anything else the Operator reasonably considers inappropriate.
6. Content you submit
You keep the rights to the content you submit (profiles, job listings, photos, files). You allow the Operator to store, display and use it as needed to run the Service.
You confirm that you have the rights needed for what you submit, such as the consent of anyone shown in a photo.
7. Reports, removal and suspension
The Operator may hide or remove listings or content that breaks these terms or that it considers inappropriate, without prior notice. Accounts may be suspended after repeated breaches or if they may harm other users.
8. Disclaimer
The Operator does not promise that the Service will run without interruption or errors. To the extent the law allows, the Operator is not responsible for dealings or contracts between users, or for any loss or dispute arising from them.
This does not limit any responsibility that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
9. Fees
The Service is currently free for both job seekers and employers. If paid features are added, you will be told in advance. There is currently no plan to charge job seekers.
10. Changes and closure
The Operator may change these terms or the Service. Important changes will be announced on the Service, and continuing to use it means you accept them. If the Service is closed, you will be told in advance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
